  • Client Relationship Officer: Sales and Customer Services

    Location: Launceston

    Contract Type: Full time

    PURPOSE:

    To focus on outbound and inbound customer calls and aim to convert all leads to applications. Support the Sales and Customer Service team with any customer focused tasks relating to applications

     

    REPORTS TO: Sales and Customer Services Manager

     

    KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

    • Knowledge and skills:
    • Experience in sales or customer service role
    • Microsoft office skills: Word, Excel and PowerPoint
    • Sound credit knowledge
    • Customer facing experience.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication.
    • Understanding of FOLK2FOLK business model/ethos
    • Commercial/financial awareness

    KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

    • Contact customer leads via phone to explain our products and sign customers up to attendance at business events.
    • Assist in researching potential lenders and borrowers and contact the leads.
    • Handle inbound and outbound sales enquiries: post, email, telephone and shared email boxes. Convert lender and borrower inbound leads to applications via phone or face to face appointments.
    • Action any direct borrower leads which meet our basic criteria from application to submission.
    • Prepare and write loan applications ensuring that all relevant information is collated and recorded accurately and within the recommended timescale
    • Liaise with Business Development Managers to ensure necessary details are collected to enable an accurate and detailed application can be prepared.
    • Process any broker applications through to submission.
    • Follow up any Lender leads and process applications as required.
    • Accurate recording of client data on CRM system, LMS, Lender Lead, Waiting List and other internal business systems. Utilise these systems for all borrower and lender leads.
    • Conduct face to face meetings with clients to ensure relevant documentation relating to loans such as personal ID is collected, copied and returned to the client.
    • Prepare comprehensive fact finds to support applications.
    • To act as the first point of contact for any client queries relating to enquiries and loan applications and keep the client updated on the status of the application prior to submitting for processing to Head Office.
    • Forward completed loan applications to the loan processing team at Head Office.
    • Ensure loan applications are submitted within the agreed timescales and meet the credit criteria stipulated by FOLK2FOLK
    • Deal with any queries raised by the loan processing team relating to applications.
    • Provide the Business Development Managers with administrative support.
    • ISA onboarding
    • Respond to any inbound client queries: post, email, telephone and shared email boxes.
    • Ensure all customer details and anti-money laundering checks are kept up to date and reviewed as needed.
    • Keep the Sales and Customer Services Manager up to date with applications/leads etc
    • Ensure that FCA compliance and other financial regulations are adhered to.
    • Make sure any sensitive data is collected and recorded according to GDPR.

  • Professionals Relationship Development Manager

    Location: Launceston

    PURPOSE:

    To play a key role in driving revenue and sales through the development of business with professional partners.

     

    REPORTS TO: Head of Partnerships and Strategy

     

    KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

    • Microsoft office skills: Word, Excel and PowerPoint
    • Experience of Business Development Management role within financial sector
    • Excellent written and verbal communication.
    • Ability to build and retain strong customer relationships.
    • In depth understanding of FOLK2FOLK business model/ethos.
    • Strong commercial/financial awareness.

    KEY ACCOUNTABILITES:

    New Business Development:

    • Identify potential introducers and businesses.
    • Research organisations and individuals to identify new leads and potential markets
    • Set up meetings with clients and present FOLK2FOLK propositions. Personally, follow up on meetings or utilise the business development resource at Head Office to develop relationships.
    • Proactively develop relationships in order to build a pipeline of opportunities.
    • Work with the Head of Partnerships and Strategy and the marketing team to develop business from Professional Partners (solicitors, accountants, valuers and brokers) who have either been appointed or have expressed an interest. Requirement to network and to gain referrals onto borrower & lender clients plus the firm’s wider professional network.
    • Follow up on contacts of professionals generated by the Head of Farming and Rural Engagement and the Corporate and Community Engagement Manager.
    • Keep up to date with the propositions and developments within FOLK2FOLK to ensure all business opportunities are maximised e.g. marketing/branch development/technical.
    • Develop a sound knowledge and be able to take a client through the onboarding process.

     

    Business Development Planning:

    • Attend professional meetings and commercial functions such as business networking groups and conferences to represent FOLK2FOLK and build knowledge on market trends.
    • Using the knowledge of the market and competitors to identify and develop the unique selling points of FOLK2FOLK.
    • Keep up to date with changes in the market.

     

    Relationship Retention:

    • Present new propositions and services to existing professionals to grow business opportunities.

     

    Administration:

    • In depth knowledge of the FOLK2FOLK processes and in-house Information Technology system.
    • Write correspondence and product updates for professional partners.
    • To assist clients in progressing lender/borrower applications.
    • Ensure all client contact relating to borrowing and lending is captured accurately within the appropriate business system eg CRM and the contact data base.
    • Ensure that FCA compliance and other financial regulations are adhered to.
    • Make sure that any sensitive data is collected and recorded according to GDPR.
    • Any other duties as required.
