Wednesday 10th October is World Homeless Day and Caring for Communities and People (CCP), a Gloucestershire based charity, have asked up to 1000 business leaders be a part of their CCP SleepOut; our CEO, Giles being one of them.
The CCP SleepOut is an event to raise awareness of the issues surrounding rough sleepers whilst raising funds to help CCP tackle the problem. CCP have supported 257 rough sleepers to access accommodation in the last 12 months.
Hoping to raise at least £1000 for this charity, Giles will be sleeping rough for a night in Gloucester: experiencing first hand what it’s like to be in this situation and learn how everyday people could end up here.
CCP work to support those in need right now whilst also working to prevent people from becoming homeless in the first place. By supporting Giles in his SleepOut you’ll be helping fund CCP’s work in creating a stronger community.
Please donate via Giles’ fundraising page – thank you!
