A pioneering people-to-business lending company which recently opened an agency in Crediton, has experienced an increase in people looking to lend to projects and businesses across the South West. Since Folk2Folk launched in February 2013, it has introduced over £36 million of loans from its lenders who have lent within the local economy.
Director Louis Mathers said: “The kinds of individuals and businesses who are keen to access these funds will be those with a project to kick-start. It could suit the construction industry, property development, purchase of a business, land or property purchases, as just a few examples.” “We’re delighted to have launched our first Devon agency and be in a strong position to match lenders to borrowers in the South West. Applicants can typically access the funds in as little as seven days, which could really make a difference to someone who has a project that needs an injection of funds.”
Managing Director David Brown is offering a series of Open Days for individuals and businesses to discuss their loan applications in the Crediton Agency and appointments are being offered for Tuesday 28th October. Applications for funds can be made via the Folk2Folk website, or by telephoning 01566 773296 to speak to David Brown for more information.
